I joined Social-Work in excitement, in
passion because i have strong urge to work for society and country. And after
two years now i see may be it was not a good choice for me though it am
extremely passionate even now for my work, for my subject and the things i studied during my professional
course. Yet there are few questions in mind that if Government institutes become
more liberal towards fresher candidates and even education been more liberal
then not only me but most of us who choose to study a subject because of
interest will not think twice for going their passion. Here are few suggestions
how education will liberate us in real sense.
1) The first thing an education institute should give its students is the freedom to express their views. I often see that many students and even teachers are in a habit to laugh while one student differ the views on any subject . And we start growing up laughing on an individual thinking with out realizing we insult a human mind which could help us to explore news ideas about the subject.
2) classes should be more interactive seasons among teachers and students. In most of the cases i have seen that teacher came in classes and they repeat what ever has been written in the books. Sooner of later a student lose interest in the subject when he finds nothing new in the class. But at the same time if teachers know the art to engage a student in the matter students will be more curious. This curiosity will benefit every one.
3) We need to improve the base of education system where every individual student should get a chance to explore his/her passion. I researched that in most of the cases we do not value the individual talent/passion. If a child is interested in painting, creative writing, science, art etc then most of the time parents and even teachers fail to recognize their passion. Our whole race of human species running after the courses that give money but what it is giving in real sense? It is doing not much good neither to the company nor to the individual. An individual end up being frustrated and company end up having a employee who can not give them excellent result. So result is a society with mediocre where we lack individuality, passion, energy, zeal and frustrated beings.
4) Government should recruit creative people in the departments. Education has been an investment for the future and every parents want job security before passion. What we see? We do not find much creative people in Government institutes. They not only lack creative skills but also lack communication skills. Government should recruit young minds with creative skills so they can give them ideas for improvement of society/institution. And may be that is why no one wants to invest in Government sector.
5) We as a social institution should understand the uniqueness and respect individuality.
6) And then there should be more vacancies in Government and private sectors for the people who choose a different course to study.
7) And government should give chance to the fresher candidates. The authorities must understand the passion and they need to read the young mind.
If we improve these qualities in education then one thing is sure that we will be able to find excellence in every individual because once they are able to get good jobs in their passionate work they will give their best.

Nikesh Kumar hi..I have read your analysis
completely..What all u said is true..Out of all thse i would like to give a
very root point that..Indian Education System is designed in such a way that it
will not satisfy the social needs of Indian society,as it was coined by
McCauley(British),who wanted India work according to their interests...Its
unfortunate that its being still followed..Course structure is to be designed
according to the societal interests ..British had said one statement while
leaving India that "India is fit to be ruled, but not to rule.."..May
we can see their prediction, according to which still we are being dominated by
foreign nations even after gaining independence...So just lets not spoil our
minds for the exisiting system...Lets remember of the quote that "Iam born
intelligent,But my education ruined me"...
By the way iam not giving any lecture..sharing my words too...
By the way iam not giving any lecture..sharing my words too...
Nidhi Aswal how true sis..hmmmmm if we cud
relate our education system to social venture …with a zeal to help the needy n
upliftment of the underprivileged ones n not insanely to make money..
Anju Rathee Mamta Sharma its
not so much easy to apply all these things.... n main thing is corruption,
which is the biggest problem
Kritika Singh what hapned to u.. its on ur
part how u proceed. ur hardwork will make u do what u wish to..and yes U r
intelligent and hardwoking.
Deepak Arora Great homework done.
...Mamta.Keep it up.
Dilip Singh Rathore educational system is the root
cause of most of the problems faced by society.
Havendra Chaudhry Very good... today all are
standing....at this plateform....and nobodt knows the reason....good start.....
Sakshi Bansal And do u know why government
institutes are failure ?
Sakshi Bansal Article is just amazing
"An Indian Education System". Poor English man what he was doing in
India? Spoiling his brain with brainless teaching ? No body need a thoughtful
man in this country , people call them freaks, morons. Or gov interview deke
bhi dekh lena kbhi future mai pta chalega what the fuck they ask to candidates
who r serious about their futures.
Panchi Simi Arora Passion ki aisi taisi karke rkhte
hai India mai. What we lack is not just quality of education but also the
passion in students and teachers. Teaching profession is not a choice now it is
an option. Students do not have curiosity because they r not interested in the
subject n they are not interested in the subject because they choose to study
the course because of scopes not out of choice.
Panchi Simi Arora 20 saal purani hum case
studies pdhte hai MBA mai wo bhi english writers k likhe hue. What about India?
Indian studies? Why students are not interested to go for research ?
Panchi Simi Arora Government mai interview lene
wale pannel ko fill karne k liye peon ko interview dene bitha dete hai. Ye
standard hai sarkari naukri kaa.
Mamta Sharma Nikesh I do agree with your views. Lord
Mackely wanted clerks who could serve British interests. And now after 66 years
of independence we are still going on with same education system. Even current
IAS pattern is more favorable to what English always wanted. It failed the
students and even system.
Punita Chettiar I
agree we don't have a decent platform for real people and such people suffer
the most sadly
Mamta Sharma Nikesh May be it is another trick to
favor FDI in education. Now there will be more foreign companies, more
institutes for coaching when Indian Government would fail the youngsters to
give good jobs even when they are capable to work sincerely. And this is happening
too they way students are going for coaching exactly after their graduation.
Where is talent count when every one is studying same subject to get good job.
Mamta Sharma Anju Exactly yaar, who can
understand better than us. The current job scenario in Haryana is some thing
very negative that fails to recognize talents. I doubt they want the one in Gov
sector. I wish we could belong to Rohtak.
Mamta Sharma Nothing Kritika Di, i only shared my views.
And hard-work is not much counted now a days. Either money speaks or the
approach. The only way to get in Gov sector. And if it is about private companies
then we can get a job any time.
Mamta Sharma Because
we all have been exploited by same system Havendra Sir.
You are from Haryana too. Am i wrong when i talk about current scenario of Gov
jobs in Haryana this way ?
Mamta Sharma Sakshi Yeah i know why that is a failure
and why no body wants to invest in Gov sector, why no body wants to send their
children in Gov schools and why rich people get jobs easily and why most of us
are dying for 9-5, only a few wants to see change. Is not it ?
Mamta Sharma Sakshi Last time my sister went for a Gov
interview. They asked her who is MLA in your locality ?
She responded and interview was done. No more questions and no answer. This is it in Haryana.
She responded and interview was done. No more questions and no answer. This is it in Haryana.
Mamta Sharma haha,
so this also happened with you Simi . I went for an interview in Panipat for a gov job. I was
surprised to see the man in interview panel who was serving chai-paani to the
pannel while we were waiting outside for our interview turn.
Mamta Sharma Simi Indian education is not best.
We lack resources here, we do not have teachers. Even students do not have
knowledge for hunger. Education failed the students ( as far as they are not engineers
and doctors). They do not have goals. They do not have a way out.
Education has nothing to do with passion now. If it would have been then there
would be recruitment for young minds in Gov sector. It is irony of this nation
that only private sectors are ready to work with freshers and may be that is
the reason private sectors are doing far far better work than Gov one.
Mamta Sharma Simi & Sakshi This is an IT age. Old one who
are working need to learn computer. They can not do it in two or three months.
Gov should recruit new employers who have knowledge about the IT field but they
do not do. Posts are vacant while thousands of pass out are waiting for jobs.
What is the use of degrees ? And may be this is another reason we have
brain-drain. No body wants to stay in a country where youngsters are exploited.
Mamta Sharma Our
Research! It is shame for the nation that our research papers have never been
accepted on International standards, Simi
